Jessica Kathryn Miley, 32 years old, of Lake Lotawana, MO passed on peacefully to be with the Lord on July 25th, 2019, surrounded by her family and best friends.

Jessica was born on May 21 ^st , 1987 in Kansas City, MO to David A. Dale & Roxanne Kelly. Jessica attended Blue Springs South High School, then finished her associate's degree at Longview Community College. On April 23, 2011 Jessica married Shane D. Miley. Jessica worked at Allstate Insurance company for 9 years, as a claims adjuster and was a very devoted employee while receiving multiple promotions. Her Allstate family meant so much to her and she developed many wonderful friendships. Jessica was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with her Mom, Roxanne Kelly who shortly retired from Allstate after Jessica was diagnosed. Jessica's entire world was brought to a standstill when Jessica and her family were diagnosed with a Mutant Multiform Glioblastoma Grade 4 Brain Tumor in October 2013. Jessica had to make a tough decision, leaving Allstate to pursue her own business, Korbin Construction, with the help of her husband, Shane Miley. As a female business owner, Jessica also obtained a prestigious WBE. The career change gave her more freedom and allowed her the opportunity to work alongside her Dad, David Dale at his construction company as his best employee. Jessica and her family became members of Legacy Christian Church and shortly after becoming members, Jessica & Shane were baptized together.

Jessica is survived by her Husband Shane Dean Miley, Son Korbin Dean Miley & Daughter Kora Kathryn Miley, Father David A. Dale, Mother Roxanne Kelly, Step-Father Timothy V. Kelly, Brother David A. Dale II & "Seester" Ashli N. Dale & Nieces Juliana and Amelia Dale, Father & Mother in law Larry & Carol Miley, Brother & Sister in Law, Roger and Shari Luebbe, Nephews Jake Luebbe & fiancé Kristi Greenwell, and Jared Luebbe, and many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Preceded in her passing by her Grandfather & Grandmother Floyd & Kathryn Dale, and Keith & June Miller.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:30pm with a candlelight vigil following at Legacy Christian Church on Thursday August 1st, 2019, 2150 E. Langsford Rd. Lee's Summit, MO 64063. Celebration of life will be held at Stonehaus Farms Winery at 7pm on August 2nd, 2019, 24607 NE Colbern Rd. Lee's Summit, MO 64086. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Be Head Strong .
