John Anthony Ashley, 34, went home to the Lord on December 20, 2023. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Rosary at 11:45 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum. The family requests to please omit flowers.

John was born January 25, 1989, in Kansas City, Missouri to Mark and Mary Ashley (nee Mancuso). He graduated from Liberty High School in 2007. After high school, he pursued a career as a union painter and established his own painting business. John had two beautiful children in 2011 and 2013. He married his loving wife Brittany (nee Rodkey) on June 4, 2022. John was a free spirit who marched to the beat of his own drum. He was the life of the party, and his laughter was contagious. He put a smile on everyone's face with his loving heart and never knew a stranger.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents John Mancuso, Donald Ashley, Elizabeth Ashley (nee Totta); and uncle Paul Anthony Mancuso. He is survived by his wife, Brittany Ashley; children Liana and Johnny Ashley; parents Mark and Mary Ashley; sister Lauren Nevarez (Martin); nanie Margaret Mancuso (nee Mangiaracina); nephews Roman Nevarez and Jay Redman; niece Payson Redmond; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers: Martin Nevarez, Anthony Quintero, Vince Quintero, Joe Passantino, Joseph Passantino, and Johnny Davis.
