John Joseph Donahue III, 66, of Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, February 27th, 2018.  The Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. followed by Visitation at 10:30 a.m. and a Memorial Mass at 12 p.m. on Monday, March 5, at St. Patrick Catholic Church 1357 NE 42nd Terr., Kansas City, MO 64116. Inurnment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. Patrick Parish.

John was born November 8th, 1951, in Kansas City, MO, to John Joseph Donahue Jr. and Geraldine Kirtley Donahue.  He graduated from St. Pius X High School where he made friendships that lasted until his death.  He was an avid reader and used to have season tickets to the Kansas City Royals, which he enjoyed taking his nieces and nephews to.  John had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew him.

John was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Seamus.  He is survived by his sister, Patsy Prestia; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; as well his close friends.
