John was born on March 8, 1942, to his parents Francisca and Miquel Espinosa in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked assembly for General Motors for 32.5 years before retiring in April 2006. He absolutely loved spinning his vinyl records and listening to music any chance he had, especially the oldies. He cheered for the Kansas City Chiefs on any given day. Loved to fiddle around in his garage with his tools and cruise the streets with the love of his life.

Rose Marie Espinosa, his lifelong devoted beautiful wife of 59 years, cared for him up until he peacefully left earth side in the early hours on October 2, 2025. An exceptionally devoted husband, beyond loving and nurturing father to his three children: Lisa Espinosa, Rebecca Espinosa and John & Jessica Espinosa and greatest and proudest Papa to his grandchildren Stephanie, Desirae, Hillary, Lexis and Johnny Joe Jr.  Great grandchildren Brandon, Jordan, Andre, Letty, Lily, Joseph and Leyanni.

Supportive and joking up until his last breath.

John, Dad, Papa, Bae and hon you will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Journey in peace now and Go Chiefs!

Services will be held on Thursday, October 9, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
