John Loges, Sr., age 73, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, October 24, 2022. He was born to his mother Erna and his father Floyd of Alma, Missouri.

John is survived by his wife Linda; sons John Jr. (Carrie), Michael (Heidi); grandchildren Sydney (Devon) Simpson, Aubrey, Kelsey, Kenzie, Reghan; and brother Paul (Tommie Sue). He never met a stranger and was blessed to have an honorary son, Junior Johnson (Alicia), and grandchildren Zachary and Destiny.

In 1971, John began his career with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department and served 25 years as an officer. When John retired, he and Linda enjoyed traveling all over the country in their 5th wheel camper. Along the way they met many cherished, life-long friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, and brother James.

The Loges family would like to extend is sincere gratitude to the Crossroads Hospice Staff. Each of you that cared for John hold a special place in our hearts and we can't thank you enough.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, November 1st from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 17200 East 39th Street South, Independence, Missouri.
