John J. Miller, 84, passed away February 21, 2023, at his home.

John was born August 6, 1938, in Kansas City, KS. He retired as a captain with the Kansas City, MO Police Department after serving for 29 years. He later worked at the Federal Reserve Bank and the Federal Courthouse. John was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church for over 43 years. He read the bible and prayed the Rosary every day. John was a proud, strong, hardworking man and was blessed by his three loving daughters.

John leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Ann; and his daughters Diana Gossett (Rick), Linda Fields and Julie Miller. He also leaves behind his grandson John Gossett (Katie); and his granddaughter Emma Gossett.

Services will be held on Monday, February 27, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the Rosary at 12:30 p.m. and Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
