Obituary

John R. Mancuso, 78, passed away September 16, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.  The Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. followed by Visitation 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 20, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family requests that masks be worn during all services. Please omit flowers.

John was born July 30, 1943, in Kansas City, MO to Paul and Mary (Tarantola) Mancuso. He married the love of his life, Margaret (Mangiaracina) Mancuso in 1963. Over the course of 58 wonderful years, they had three beautiful children, Mary, Paul and Vitamarie, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. John was a proud family man, and his greatest pleasure was having his loved ones by his side.

John became a mason in 1961 and in 1970 established D&M Masonry, Inc. Anyone who knew John, knows he was the hardest working man. After retirement, John and Margaret enjoyed traveling the country in their motor home, spending winters in Arizona, visiting numerous racetracks, and making life-long friends along the way.

John was preceded in death by his son, Paul Anthony Mancuso , parents Paul and Mary (Tarantola) Mancuso, in-laws Carl and Vita (Fontana) Mangiaracina, brothers Msgr. Joseph Mancuso and Paul Mancuso Jr., and brother-in-law, John Wutich.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Mangiaracina) Mancuso, daughters Mary Ashley (Mark), Vitamarie Quintero (Vince), daughter-in-law Charlene Mancuso, grandchildren John Ashley (Brittany), Lauren Nevarez (Martin), Anthony Quintero (Shelbie), Victoria Quintero, John Paul Mancuso and Salvatore Mancuso, great-grandchildren Johnny and Liana, brother Gregory Mancuso (Denise), sister Anna Wutich, sister-in-law Margaret Mancuso, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: John Ashley, Anthony Quintero, Martin Nevarez, John Paul Mancuso, Paul Michael Mancuso, and Joe Passantino.

Honorary Pallbearers: Ross Distefano, Anthony Paris, Nathan Giacomo, Jack Giangalanti, and Joe Mike Mesh.
