In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three loving children and their spouses, Pete Ribaste (Dana), Anna Marie Womack (Mike) and Johnny Ribaste (Krystal). Johnny has six grandchildren who he adored, Dr. Angela Ribaste, Jonathan Ribaste, Demi Ribaste, Natalie Ribaste, Marisa Womack and Michael John Womack. Johnny owned and operated The Knobtown Fruit Market in Raytown, MO. For 50 years, he and his wife worked side-by-side selling fresh fruits and vegetables in the community, sharing a laugh or two with their many loyal customers. They enjoyed their work and enjoyed spending the winters together in Florida. He also wholesaled produce at the city market and generously shared his knowledge of the produce business with younger generations. Early in his business career, Johnny also owned The Red Lantern Tavern and The Red Cherry Lounge near the market.
