Johnny Dorcy's Obituary
Johnny Dorcy, 83, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 15, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Cremation will follow.
John was born October 6, 1933, in Kansas City, MO. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Hyman Freight. He helped with special needs children at Delano School, and enjoyed watching football, baseball, and NASCAR. John boxed in the Golden Gloves.
John is survived by his wife, Dorothy Dorcy; son, Kian Dorcy; stepdaughter, Stephanie Barrett (Bernard); children, Sabrina (Terry), Bo (Johanna), Jody, Nickie (Pat), and Tony (Jamie); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Dorcy (Susan); sister, Anna Marie; and sister-in-law, Gloria Dorcy.
John will be missed by all.
