Joseph W. Brown, Jr., 72, passed away October 1, 2018. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, October 14, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, October 15, at Leavenworth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation .

Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Estella M Brown; and father, Joseph Walter Brown, Sr. He is survived by Diane M. (Occhipinto) Brown, his wife of 40 years and the only woman we know that would put up with his stubbornness; his daughter Stacey L. Brown and favorite granddog Morgan Brown of Independence, MO; his daughter Brenda M. Blair, son-in-law David M Blair, and favorite grandchild Larry Joseph Blair, all of Orrick, MO; and a slew of cousins otherwise known as The Herrins.
