Joseph James LeGrotte Jr., 61, passed away June 7, 2021.

Joe was born February 10, 1960, in Kansas City, MO to Joseph and JoMarie LeGrotte. He graduated from Center High School and continued on to receive a bachelor's in business administration from the University of Missouri. Joe was married to Shelly Lynne Prater on October 10, 1992. They were married 29 wonderful years.

Joe is survived by his two children Rachael and Joseph; his wife Shelly; his brother Chris and wife Jennifer; his mother JoMarie; along with his nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Joe was preceded in death by his father Joseph; his brother Mark; his infant son James; and grandparents Joe and Carmela Ross and Sam and Nettie LeGrotte.

Joe had a love for many things including sports, music, and most importantly his family. He expressed his love and dedication through his hard work, his intelligence, and his humor.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. followed by Prayer & Reflections at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 12 at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association or charity of choice. The family of Joseph LeGrotte wish to thank Passantino Bros. Funeral Home.
