Joseph L. Panethere's Obituary
Joseph L. Panethere, 88, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017. Visitation will be 4 p.m. with the Funeral Mass beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, at St. James Catholic Church, 309 S. Stewart Rd., Liberty, MO 64068. Cremation will follow the services.
Joseph was born March 11, 1928, in Kansas City, MO, to John and Laurine Panethere. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Teamsters Local 41. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary Panethere, in 2014; his great-granddaughter, Lucy Laurine Gagnon; and his sister, Mary Phillips.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Laurine and Rick Calvert; Christina and Frank Disciacca; grandchildren, Chris and Heather Gagnon, Joe and Kendra Gagnon, John and Christina Gagnon, Marie Disciacca, Mary and Matt Lane, Joe Mike Disciacca; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty Seredich and Josephine Bermel; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
