Joseph Michael Toia, 78, passed away October 31, 2018, at the home of his daughter Rose Toia. The Rosary will be prayed at 8:30 a.m. followed by Visitation at 9 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, at St. Gabriel Archangel Catholic Church, 4737 N. Cleveland, Kansas City, MO. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Joe was born January 15, 1940, to the late Angelo and Rose (Cardello) Toia. He was a barber, owning 'Joe's Venice Barber Shop',  and for many years was self-employed in men's clothing sales.

Joe was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Frances and John Saccone. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Toia; his children, Rose Toia, Victoria "Vicky" Mumford (Tris), Michelle Toia, Joe Mike Toia, and Nicky John Toia; his grandson, Alex Toia; special nieces and nephew, JoMarie and Andrew Armillio, Rosemarie Saccone; great-nephew and nieces, John Paul and Kyleigh Armillio, Andrea Armillio; great-great niece and nephews, Kinley, Henry, and William; special cousin who was like a brother, Charlie Bruscato; mother of his daughters, Mary Toia; and numerous other nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers: Andrew Armillio, John Paul Armillio, Bobby Baker, Charlie Bruscato, Benny Joe Cardello, Vince Civella, Joe Gicinto, Mark Molle, Andy Puleo.
