Josephine (DiCapo) Arnone passed away August 14, 2012 at the age of 94. "Ti" Arnone, as she was affectionately known by almost everyone, was born April 4, 1918.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary (Solito) DiCapo; husband, Joseph H. Arnone; a brother, Carl DiCapo; and infant daughter, Marianne Arnone.

As a proud matriarch, our mother's life touched many people. She was a caring friend and a positive influence to all who were fortunate enough to have known her. A kind heart and loving nature were just some of the truly positive attributes that caused more people than just her family to consider her "mother" or "grandmother." Her love of family was always her primary concern and she left an indelible mark on all of our lives. "Ti" Arnone was a dedicated loving mother who will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Josephine leaves behind three sons and their wives, Joe and Martha Arnone, George and Donna Arnone, Raymond and Deidre Arnone; a daughter, Annette Lanfranca; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family offers a special thank you to the staff of Garden Valley Manor for the care and compassion shown to Josephine.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, August 16, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Family and friends will gather on Friday, August 17, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Dr., Kansas City, MO 64118, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
