Josephine J. (Campobasso) Girard, 105, passed away October 14, 2018. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, October 18, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Visitation will also be 9 a.m. with the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 19,  at Little Sister of the Poor, 8745 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Josephine was born February 20, 1913, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Ignazio and Antonia (Navarra) Campobasso. She was a member of the American Daughters of Columbus.  Josephine was preceded in death by her son, Robert Swope; her first husband, Aaron Swope; her second husband, Dominick Girard; and her siblings, Joe "Biff" Campobasso, Walter Campobasso, Lee Mitchell, and Mary DiLorenzo.

Survivors include her grandson, Joseph "Biff" and Stephanie Swope; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Rose Campobasso, Dr. Frank and Donna Campobasso; step-daughters, Donna and Dominic Saragusa, Alice Benson, Kathleen Inzerillo; step-grandchildren, Michael Saragusa, Rosemarie Saragusa, Frances Benson, Eric Benson, Vito Milazzo, Anthony Inzerillo, Dominick Inzerillo; and many nieces and nephews.
