Josephine K.
Lipari
Nov 25, 1924 — Apr 17, 2021
Josephine K. Miller (Moley) Lipari, 96, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021, which would have also been her 76th wedding anniversary. She was surrounded by her family in her home at The Atriums. A private family service was held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers the family would suggest donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Center, and Holy Rosary Church.
Josephine was born November 25, 1924 in Kansas City, MO to Mary (Ciccio) Miller and George (Moley) Miller. She graduated from Manuel High School. At a very young age she met the love of her life, Ross Lipari. They were married on April 17, 1945. Josephine and Ross had two sons, Louis John born 1947 and George born 1952. They enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, traveling, dancing, and hosting family Sunday dinners and especially the large holiday gatherings. Josephine was one of the proudest grandmothers of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Josephine had a blessed life full of wonderful memories although she suffered the loss of her two sons Louis John and George Lipari along with her husband Ross. The grief was deep, but her strength and courage persevered and made her the strong woman we all knew so well. Josephine resided at The Atriums late in life where she continued to enjoy socializing with friends, playing cards, Bingo, and especially happy hour.
