Josephine (Sciortino) Sanders' Obituary
Josephine (Sciortino) Sanders, 84, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Josephine was born February 4, 1933, to the late Serafino and Rose (Zotti) Sciortino. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leroy Monte and Virgil Sanders; and her sister Sandy Schaefer. She is survived by her niece, Sharon Pollina; nephew, Dan Schaefer; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
