Judy Kay Picone passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 82.

Judy Kay Picone was born September 26, 1942, in Kansas City, MO. She was a devoted wife, mother, and nana. Judy married Alexander J. Picone on August 31, 1963. Last month they would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

Judy was a traditional stay at home mom caring for every need of the family. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing clothes for special events or hemming clothes to fit just right. Judy was a homemaker until all four children entered high school and then she began working as the Manager at Topsy's Popcorn in Antioch Mall for several years. She enjoyed visiting with neighbors, gardening, feeding the hummingbirds, and playing the slot machines at the boat. She hosted Sunday pasta dinners for family and anyone who dropped by and was a remarkable nana for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Alexander J. Picone ; parents Kathryn E. Yoksh and Ray H. Burbey; brother-in-law Berry Laws; brother-in-law Vince Picone; sons George and Vince; and grandson Quinton Picone.

Survivors include sister Pat Laws; daughters Josephine Biggs (JD) and Kathryn Picone; daughter-in-law Sherri Picone (Vince); grandchildren Judy K Picone, Alexandria Picone (Jose), Alisha Picone (Cory), Gabriel Biggs (Caileigh), Rose Biggs (Max); 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and close family friend Stephanie.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
