Julie Ciccio passed away peacefully in her home on November 24, 2014, at age 68.
She leaves behind the loves of her life: her husband of 48 years, Joseph Ciccio; her daughter, Andrea (Ciccio) Shy and husband Kerry; her son, Joseph M. Ciccio and wife Amy; her grandchildren, Luke and Ava; her mother, Pauline Murphy; sisters, Sheryl Patton and husband Dennis, and Paulette Fiske; aunts, Marion and Carm Pickarell; mother-in-law, Ann Lucido; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tony and Vangie Ciccio, Nick Jr. and Lorie Ciccio, Antoinette and Kenny Brashear, Georgeann Molle; and many nieces and nephews.
Julie was a loving wife, amazing mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She volunteered her time with the children's ministry at Platte Woods United Methodist Church. Julie enjoyed playing tennis for over 30 years at Northland Racket Club and was a member of two women's clubs with her lifelong friends.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 28, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge, Raytown, MO 64138. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the ALS Association – Mid America Chapter, 6950 Squibb Rd, Ste. 210, Mission, KS 66202.
