Kathryn E. Martin, 87, died September 22, 2018, after a battle with cancer. She was a graduate of Glennon High School in Northeast Kansas City where she was a lifelong resident and successfully achieved her chosen devotion of a large, loving, Catholic family. She was also a retiree of Montgomery Wards. She had many talents such as cooking, singing, and playing the piano and organ.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Dwane P. Martin; her son John Patrick Martin I; and grandson Billy Lee. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Sheryl L. Martin of Kansas City, David and Cyndy Martin of Billings, MT, Kathleen and Stephen Pasalich of Kansas City, Steven and Francesca Martin of Greenwood, Cecilia and Rachel Martin-Still of Smyrna, TN, Charles and Jamie Martin of Kansas City; her grandchildren: Aaron Martin and Rose, Dustin Martin and Kristie, Ryan Martin and Brittany, Stephen Pasalich II and Gina, Eric Pasalich, George Pasalich, Andrea Martin, Michael Martin, Daniel Martin and Alyson, Kathryn Martin, John Patrick Martin II, Crystal Kudart and Trevor, Devon Martin, Dakota Martin, Ashley Dumas, Bailey Dumas; her great-grandchildren: Andrew Long, Steven Long, Blake Pasalich, Caroline Pasalich, Adalyn Martin, Keaton Martin, Kate Martin, and Sophia Marie Kudart; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Visitation will be 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, September 28, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, followed by a 2:45 p.m. Graveside Service at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO.
