An alumnus of Raytown South High School, and having dedicated four years of electrical trade school, Keith established a life grounded in hard work, integrity, and quiet strength. In 1986, he co-founded Westhues Electric, Inc. with his father, four brothers, and sister. Built upon strong ethics, quality craftsmanship, and family values, Keith dedicated decades to growing the business into a lasting legacy that continues proudly into its second generation through his sons, nephews, and dedicated employees.

Keith embraced a full and joyful life, finding pleasure in simple moments: boating on sunny waters, golfing with cherished friends and family, exploring hiking trails, and traveling to new destinations. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family. Known for his welcoming nature and easy-going spirit, Keith had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel comfortable.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Frances Westhues; his sons, Alex and Andrew Westhues; his daughter-in-law, Amanda Westhues; and his beloved granddaughters, Theresa and Marisa Westhues. Keith also leaves behind his siblings and their spouses: Greg and Sherry Westhues, Gary and Dalene Westhues, Mark and Mary Ann Westhues, and Karen and Bob Prichard, as well as his beloved in-laws, the Raniolo family, his sister-in-law, Vickie Westhues, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Frederic and Jacqueline Westhues; his brother, Mike Westhues; and his sister-in-law, Laura Westhues.

Keith touched the lives of many, and his legacy will endure through the strong family he nurtured, the thriving business he helped build, and the countless friends and colleagues who were fortunate to know him.
