Kenneth L. Smith, Sr., 61, passed away December 7, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, December 16, at Shoal Creek Community Church, 6816 N. Church Rd., Pleasant Valley, MO 64068.

Kenneth was born August 20, 1957, in Kansas City, MO, to Marilyn (Shields) and James Smith. He was a 1975 graduate of Winnetonka High School. He married Teresa Sexton in 1982 and together they had two children, Kenneth (Elizabeth) and Alysia.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa; his father, James; and his brother, Glenn. In addition to his children and mother he is survived by his sister, Cynthia (Tom); brothers, Scott (Lena) and Jeff; sister-in-law, Cindy Smith; and several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
