Kevin Lee Young, 56, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away on December 30, 2017. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, January 7, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where a service will begin at 3 p.m.

Kevin was born April 12, 1961, in Kansas City, MO. He worked in the automotive industry for more than 30 years—the past 21 years were spent with the Molle Automotive Group where he worked as a sales manager. Kevin was beloved by all that knew him; he was known as a compassionate, kind, and incredibly generous man. He enjoyed vacationing with family and friends in The Villages, FL, and was a huge fan of Indy Car racing and the KC Chiefs. In his spare time, Kevin was an avid golfer, music-lover, and treasured his time drawing and playing pool.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Sue Brown, and his father, Hewitt W. Young. Survivors include his step-mother, Jeannine V. Young; his siblings, Guy W. Young (Regina), Kimberly S. Young, Jay E. Young, Jason M. Young (Jocelyn Battisti); and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer R. Sprague, Kristen Landrum, Christopher A. Young, Anthony R. Young, Megan S. Young, Emma E. Young, Rachel M. Young, Kyle M. Young; and great-niece, Elizabeth M. Young.
