Laura F. (LaPuma) Conklin, 89, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, November 18, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Visitation will also be 11 a.m. Monday, November 19, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 6415 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Contributions are suggested to St. Andrew the Apostle Parish or the Outreach Program at St. Andrew's.

Laura was born December 13, 1922 and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, and was active with ARC of Clay-Platte Counties. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon V. Conklin; and her daughter, Sharon Marie Conklin.

Survivors include her brother and sisters-in-law, Jesse A. and Anna L. LaPuma, Norma Consilvio; niece, Margaret A. Mancuso and husband Paul; 11 other nieces and nephews; 18 great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces and nephews.
