Laurence Vincent "Larry" Scudiero, 70, passed away on April 5, 2026.

Larry was born on March 6, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Laurence L. Scudiero and Virginia (DeCapo) Nicholson. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1974. Following high school, Larry built a career in sales, most recently working at Dick's Sporting Goods, where he dedicated over 20 years.

Larry had a deep love for fishing and treasured time spent on the water with family and friends, especially his weekly outings with his nephew, Tony Mike. He was also known for never missing a meal at his sister Gerry's house. In his younger years, Larry seemed to have a knack for getting the best seats at concerts—and even backstage passes. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and rarely missed a game. Above all, Larry cherished his daughters and found immense joy in being a grandfather.

He is survived by his daughters, Angela Scudiero (Adam Smith) and Jaclyn Evergreen (Alex Evergreen); his grandson, Atlas Evergreen; his sisters, Mary Scudiero and Gerry Glorioso; and his nieces and nephew, Tony Mike Glorioso, Maria Glorioso, Christina Ray (Jonathan), Heidi Glorioso, and Stacey Donnici. He is also survived by his great-nieces and nephews, John Michael Glorioso, Lucy and Milo Ray, Lily Glorioso, and Bobbi Jo Gumm; his aunt and uncle, Anthony and Rita DeCapo; and the mother of his daughters, Marsha Register.

Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent and Beatrice Scudiero and Jack and Mayme DeCapo; his parents, Laurence L. Scudiero and Virginia (DeCapo) Nicholson; his brother-in-law, John Glorioso; and his nephew, Johnny Joe Glorioso.

Honorary pallbearers include Michael Scudiero, Tony Mike Glorioso, Carl DeMaddalena, Jeff Lyon, and Jay Redding. Larry also leaves behind the memory of his cherished lifelong friendships with the late Gary Stevens, Steve Burns, and Jay Jarvis.

Larry will be remembered for his humor, his stories, his love of family, and the many friendships he maintained throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home.
