Lee DiMaggio, age 97, of the Kansas City area, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee's Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055, where the funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial services will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. DiMaggio; daughter, Sarilee A. DiMaggio; two sisters, Virginia DiMaggio, Jennie Vento; and brother, Tony Cropis. She is survived by her son, Phillip J. DiMaggio; daughter, Marilee A. DiMaggio; brother, Victor Cropis; sisters, Clara Licata, Josephine Mirabile; sisters-in-law, Rosalie Mingrone, Glenda DiMaggio; three grandchildren, Toni Eckman, Angie Lowery, Danielle Martin; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She will forever be in our hearts and missed every day.
