Lee Lane Dillard, 67, passed away January 12, 2022. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, where a celebration of his life will begin at 3:00 p.m. ( live stream )

Lee was born September 12, 1954, to the late William (Bill) J. Dillard and Ruth Dodd Dillard. Lee was regarded by so many as a genuine and caring soul. He endured challenge after challenge throughout his life, never complaining, but always looking at the bright side and always finding the silver lining. He maintained his relationship with God through daily prayer and meditation.  He was a believer in Jesus Christ and is now, after all these years, not only walking, but walking on streets of gold.

Lee is survived by five children: Leah Leach of Kansas City, MO, Brittani Dillard Gilbreath of Quitman, TX, Josh Dillard of Kansas City MO, Justin Dillard of Los Angeles, CA, and Jereme Dillard of Mineola, TX; two grandchildren: Legend Lee Dillard and Journey Lane Dillard of Quitman, TX; twin brother Lynn Dillard of Longview TX; sister Donna Sims of Quitman, TX; and two wives: Cindy Wims of Mineola, TX, and Sheila Brotherton of Kansas City, MO.
