Lena M. Caldrone, 95, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016. Visitation will be 9 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 18, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 9020 E. 51 ^st Terr., Kansas City, MO 64133. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association .

Lena was born March 31, 1921, in Kansas City, MO, to Antonio and Mary Moley. She was a loving matriarch who was devoted to her family and parish, and was a lifelong volunteer for the St. Joseph Society, dedicating her time and love of cooking to help others less fortunate. She hosted and was the center of attention of many family celebrations and her love and presence will be deeply missed by her family.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Michael R. Caldrone; son, Michael A. Caldrone; sisters, Mary Pallazzola and Frances Moley; and brothers, Carlo, Joseph, and Dominic "Butch" Moley. She is survived by her daughter, Mary F. Carpenter; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph M. and Cheryl Caldrone; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
