Lia Anna D'Angelo, 54, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 on Wednesday, April 4, Resurrection Mausoleum, Kansas City North. Friends may call 5:00 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be said at 6:45 p.m. Please omit flowers.
Lia was born March 2, 1964 in Kansas City and was baptized at Assumption/St. Anthony's Parish where she was a member for more than 40 years. She attended St. Mary's School for Exceptional Children in St. Louis, Missouri. There, she learned skills she applied at the Rehabilitation Institute in Kansas City where she worked for many years. She loved arts and crafts, word search, Uno and especially shopping. She was always smiling.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Maria D'Angelo; sister, Mary Frances D'Angelo, brother, Tommy D'Angelo (Jackie Henderson); aunts and uncles, Enza and Dennis Haug, Vincent and Tecla D'Angelo, Maria D'Angelo; niece, Izabella D'Angelo and many cousins and friends. Her father, Gaetano D'Angelo, preceded Lia in death.
