Lois F. Conrad, 78, formerly of Montrose, MO and residing in Blue Springs, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Kansas City Hospice House. Cremation is planned. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 15, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 611 N. Liberty, Independence, MO 64050, 8:30 to 10 a.m. with the Rosary prayed at 9:15 a.m. prior to a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m., with Rev. Matt Rotert officiating.

Lois was born May 19, 1933, to Carl and Ocie Conrad of Montrose, MO, who preceded her in death. She had resided in the Kansas City metro area since 1951 and proudly worked over 40 years for Blue Cross Blue Shield in various positions as claims analyst, supervisor, and customer service manager.

Memorial contributions are recommended in her name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 6811 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Shawnee Mission, KS 66202; St. Mary's Parish; or a charity of your choice.
