Louie Zicarelli, 89, Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011 at NorthCare Hospice House. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where American Legion services will begin at 6 p.m., and a Prayer Service will begin at 6:30 p.m. The family suggests contributions to NorthCare Hospice House. Louie was born June 30, 1922 in Kansas City, MO to Antonio and Maria (Cangelosi) Zicarelli. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was a member of Campo-Manfre-Barbieri Post 151 of the American Legion. He worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad and after retirement enjoyed spending time at the City Market helping his nephew Johnny Pisciotta.

Louie was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Clara Herring, Rosalie Vento, Theresa Lancaster and Annie Zicarelli, brothers Frank Zicarelli and Sam Zicarelli, and his wife Jean Zicarelli.

Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law Mary Jo Falco, JoAnn and Fred Ross; grandchildren Joey Falco, Frankie and Jennifer Falco, Andrea Ross, Chris and Stephanie Ross; great-granddaughters Domenica Falco and Adelina Ross; brother and sister-in-law Carl and Theresa Ann Zicarelli; stepdaughter Rae Ann Conforti and her children Alexis, Lauren and Ashley; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers: Joey Falco, Frankie Falco, Chris Ross, Johnny Pisciotta, Louie Pisciotta, Nick Zicarelli.

Honorary Pallbearers: Mike Jones, John Mesh, Fred Ross, Anthony Zicarelli, Carl Zicarelli, Stephen Zicarelli.
