Louis Lipari, Jr., 87, passed away January 15, 2018, at St. Luke's Plaza Hospital. The Rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. followed by Visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, January 19, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, January 20, at Holy Rosary Church, followed by entombment at Mount Olivet Mausoleum. Please omit flowers.

Louis was born August 21, 1930, in Kansas City, MO. In 1956, Louis and his three brothers opened Lipari Bros. Thriftway Food Mart in Kansas City, KS. He retired in 1991.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Sr. and Lena (Moley) Lipari; his brothers, Leonard and Ross Lipari; and nephews, Louis John and George Lipari. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (LaBella) Lipari; son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Lori Lipari; daughter and son-in-law, Marie and David Relic; grandchildren, Nicholas Relic, Elena and Brent Lytle, David Relic, Louis "LJ" Lipari, Ann Lipari; brother and sisters-in-law, John and Gloria Lipari, Josephine Lipari; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Judy LaBella; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
