Louise Ann Barba-Gardner's Obituary
Louise A. Barba-Gardner, 71, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, August 15, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Cremation will follow with burial at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.
Louise was born December 10, 1944, to Frank and Jenny (Bascone) Triano. She worked for Kansas City Salad Co. at the River Market, but spent most of her life as a Pre-K teacher at St. Anthony and Holy Cross Parishes. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph F. Barba, Jr.; sister, Phyllis Calderone; and brother, John Triano.
Survivors include her children, Richard A. Barba (Lisa), Jennifer Thomas (Michael), Kathy Minturn (John), Teresa Barba; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Pearl Guarino (Paul), Toni Bruscato (Anthony); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
