Louise F. Monaco, 94, Kansas City, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at her home. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Family and friends will gather on Friday, June 30, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96 ^th St., Kansas City, MO 64155, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Don Bosco Senior Center.

Louise was born April 26, 1923, in Kansas City, MO, to John and Salvatrice (Scribano) Mistretta. She enjoyed going to the Don Bosco Senior Center and playing cards with the girls, and she was proud to have served as past-president of the Societa Ragusa Americana (SRA Club). She along with her late husband "Big Louie" loved to dance – especially to Ed Smith Bands.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Louis R. Monaco, in 2012; her daughter, Roseanne Simone McCalmet, in 1986; her son, Charles Louis Monaco, in 2004; and her grandson, Charles Louis Monaco II, in 2004. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. John and Cathy Monaco of St. Louis, MO, Dr. Louis II and Benecia Monaco of Belton, MO; daughter-in-law, JoAnn Monaco; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers:  Joseph A. Simone, Benjamin L. Monaco, Dr. Joseph Monaco, Louis Joseph Monaco, Louis John Monaco, Tony Mike Monaco, and Nicholas J. Monaco.
