Lucille was born December 12, 1927, to loving parents Joe and Sadie (Provenzo) Cherrito, the younger identical twin sister to Josephine. She was known throughout her life as one of the "Cherrito twins". Lucille married the love of her life Mike DiCapo in 1948, celebrating 60 wonderful years together before his passing in 2008. She found great joy in her family, especially her grandchildren. Lucille was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Her husband Mike DiCapo, parents Joe and Sadie Cherrito, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vincent and Ida DiCapo, Tony and Virginia Markese, and Bennie Abbott preceded her in death.
Leaving behind to treasure her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Leanora DiCapo; her daughter, Rosemary Totty; grandchildren, John and Erin DiCapo, Nick DiCapo, Justin and Kim Totty, Mikala Totty; and great-granddaughter, Vivianne Rose Totty. She will be greatly missed by all but especially her twin sister, Josephine Abbott. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
