Luke Piranio, 67, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the Funeral Home, with burial following in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Please omit flowers.

Luke was born July 6, 1947, in Kansas City, MO, to Anthony and Betty (Robbe) Piranio. He retired from TWA/American Airlines in 2009. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.

Luke was preceded in death by his parents; and wife of 38 years, Rita Andersen Piranio, in 2008. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Nino and Mary Piranio; his daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Daniel Vick; and his granddaughters, Alyssa, Isabella and Amelia.

Luke was a loving father and grandfather who will be missed by all.
