Lynda Mary Callon, 39+, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully on October 12, 2014 at KU Medical Center following complications from uterine cancer. She was surrounded by many members of her chosen family, her brother, Jim Callon, and Barb Bailey, her longtime "partner-in-crime".

Lynda was born November 3rd, sometime in the 20th Century in Burlington, Ontario, Canada to Patrick and Lorretto Callon who preceded Lynda in death. Lynda is survived by an extended family of loving friends, including supporters of the Westside CAN Center/The Westside is the Bestside.

As per Lynda's request, she was cremated. An informal "Irish Wake" will be held on Friday, October 17th, at 10 am, at the CAN Center, 2136 Jefferson, Kansas City, MO 64108 followed by a celebration of life conducted by Father Jerry Waris. After the celebration a fiesta luncheon will be held at the same location.
