Madaline "Mag" Simone, 92, passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2018.

Mag was born to the late Nick and Mary (Terino) Capito on June 29, 1925. She was a member of the Daughters of Columbus and an excellent bocce player. She bowled weekly into her late 80's and enjoyed going to the boat after. Mag was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and aunt, and was called "Aunt Mag" by everyone. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking and taking care of them. She crocheted and made blankets for most of the family and enjoyed tending to her flowers and sitting at the pool watching the kids during the summer.

Mag was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 47 years, Phil Simone; her sister, Anne Randazzo; her aunt, Fannie Civella, who was like a mother to her; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She is survived by her children, Toni Ann and Nick; and the other matriarch of the family, Molly Civella.

The Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. followed by Visitation from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Family and friends will gather on Thursday, March 15, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42 ^nd Terr., Kansas City, MO 64116, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to Great Lakes Caring Hospice . Flowers are welcome.
