Makayla "Mack" Brooks, 17, passed October 5, 2018. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 15, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 7009 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, at the Church. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Brooks family c/o Passantino Bros. Funeral Home.

Makayla was a beautiful carefree girl, a little sassy, very bright, with an infectious laugh and ready smile. She had a heart of gold with love that overflowed spreading her energetic nature to others with care and concern. The little children flocked to her, she treasured her friendships and loved the animals. She is loved and will be missed by her family and friends. We offer up our dear Makayla to the Lord.

Survivors include her parents, Tom and Karen Brooks; sister, Molly Brooks; grandparents, John and Margaret Brooks, Thomas and Barbara Kinderknecht; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
