Manuel Juarez, Sr. passed away August 27, 2021 with his loving wife, Gloria, at his side.  Manuel was born to parents, Martin and Hermelinda (Rocha) Juarez in Kansas City, Kansas.

Manuel graduated from Wyandotte High School and entered the U.S. Army serving in Kaiserslautern, Germany during the Viet Nam War.  Upon returning from the Army, Manuel was employed by Hallmark Cards and Nebraska Furniture Mart among other businesses before retiring in 2012.

He is survived by his wife Gloria V. (Diaz) Juarez, children Manuel (Debbie) Juarez Jr., Michael Juarez, Martin (Stephanie) Juarez and Matthew (Jamie) Juarez, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Manuel is also survived by his siblings, Martin Juarez, Jr., David (DeLores) Juarez, Hermelinda (Dennis) Guernsey, Teresa (Jesus) Navarro and his sister-in-law Lupe Juarez.  Manuel is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Anthony Juarez.

Visitation for Manuel will be held September 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple, 5607 St. John Ave, Kansas City MO with services beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Calvary Temple.
