Manuel Shortino, 85, Gladstone, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Heritage Village. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 27, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th St., Kansas City, MO 64155, followed by burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Manuel was born August 31, 1926 to Baldasaro and Antonina (Lucido) Shortino. He retired from TWA in 1989 after 39 years of service. He enjoyed traveling the world, visiting the casinos, and attending his niece's and nephew's sporting events. Manuel was preceded in death by his sisters and brother, Delia Fantin, Pete Salsiccia, Lena Highberger, Genevieve Cuda and Rose Rinaldi; and his nephew Joseph Cuda.

He is survived by his brother-in-law Charles Cuda, and many nieces and nephews.
