It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marcello Umbertone, who left us peacefully on July 17, 2026, at the age of 45. A resident of Independence, Missouri, Marcello lived a quiet, private life on his own terms and was deeply loved by those who truly knew him.

Marcello was known by his family and close friends for his gentle spirit and his appreciation for life's simple, unhurried moments. While he did not pursue a traditional career or public pastimes, his presence brought a unique and quiet warmth to his family home. He was a man of few words but possessed a kind heart, and he found his greatest comfort in the familiar routines of daily life and the company of his loved ones.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Salvatore and Ina Umbertone; his siblings, David Umbertone (Kristi); his cherished nieces, Dominique Umbertone and McKenzie Umbertone; and his beloved great-niece, Everly; all of whom will miss his quiet presence every day.

Services will be held on Friday evening, July 24, 2026, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m.
