Margaret Agrusa Monaco, 96, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015, at NorthCare Hospice House. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday, October 12, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
Margaret was born August 25, 1919, in Kansas City, MO. She was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Parish where she was active with the Altar Society and St. Joseph's Table. She was also a member of the Don Bosco Senior Center.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Rose Barreca; her husband of 31 years, Vincent Agrusa; her husband of 20 years, James Monaco; sisters, Josephine Barreca and Maggie Scardino; and brother, Carl Barreca.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Salvatore and Helen Agrusa, Anthony and Madeline Agrusa; grandchildren, Sherrie Gallick (Randy), Steve Agrusa, Vince Agrusa, Thomas Agrusa (Ari); eight great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Barreca Sr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Steve Agrusa, Vincent Agrusa, Thomas Agrusa, David Barreca, Ralph Barreca Jr., Michael Barreca. Honorary Pallbearer: Mickey O'Sullivan.
