Marguerite P. Accurso, 85, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. The Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. followed by visitation from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 21, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42nd Terr., Kansas City, MO 64116. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at St. Patrick's Church, followed by burial in Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Marguerite was born November 21, 1927, in Kansas City, MO, to Joseph and Anna (Indelicato) Correnti. She was a charter member of St. Patrick's Parish, and was a member of the Altar Society and Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed gardening and loved cooking for her family. She worked over 20 years at North Kansas City School District cafeterias. She never knew a stranger. Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony Accurso, in 2009; three infant sons; and sisters, Marie and Josephine Correnti, and Annette Saia.

Survivors include her children, Matthew Accurso and wife Vonda, Rita Accurso, Michael Accurso; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Matthew and Betty Accurso; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers: Elliott Accurso, Eric Scherfenberg, Jason Scherfenberg, Jason Farrell, Derrick Smith, Michael J. Poppa, Kaden Smith, and Kale Smith.
