Marie Giglio's Obituary
Marie Florence Giglio, 93, died Sunday, April 3, 2016, at NorthCare Hospice House.
Marie was born in Kansas City, MO, to Lawrence and Mary Tuso, and lived in the Northeast neighborhood for most of her life since 1923. She enjoyed making Italian cookies, going shopping, and dressing up for events. She was employed by the Kansas City, MO School District for 20 years.
Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years, John, in 1980. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Mary Kay) and Larry (Mazie); seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, at St. Gabriel Archangel Catholic Church, 4737 N. Cleveland, Kansas City, MO 64117. Burial will follow at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery.
