Mario Umbertone, 64, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, February 24, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 25, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 309 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum, Kansas City North.

Mario was born October 1, 1948 in Palermo, Italy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Santo and Vita Umbertone; his brother, Peter Umbertone; and his friend/brother-in-law, Henry Bujak.

He leaves behind his wife, Lucia Umbertone; daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Frank Brancato; son, Santo Mark Umbertone; grandchildren, Marie, Lucia and Joe Brancato, Ava and Leo Umbertone; brothers and sisters-in-law, Salvatore and Ina Umbertone, Phillip and Gina Umbertone; sister, Mary Bujak; brother-in-law, Antonio Ribaudo and Gigi Grissim; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Adam Bujak, Alex Bujak, Mike Bender, David Umbertone, Marchello Umbertone, Mike Barrett.
