Marion Mistretta's Obituary
Marion Mistretta, 85, passed away July 15, 2018. Visitation will be 11 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 23, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice.
Marion was born March 16, 1933, to the late John and Salvatrice (Scribano) Mistretta. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired from the Kansas City, MO Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Anna Travalent, Lena DiCapo, and Louise Monaco.
Survivors include his children, Sylvia McGinnis (Lowell "Mac"), John Mistretta (Rebecca), and Carol Mistretta; grandson, John Michael Bair (Brandi); great-grandchildren, Olivia and Anthony; and the mother of his children, Carol Hodges.
