Mark Anthony Sorrentino, 58, passed away peacefully at the University of Kansas Medical Center on Friday, November 8, 2024. Mark was cremated according to his wishes.

Mark was born May 22, 1966, in Kansas City, MO. He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends and took great pride in doing things his way. He was a man of his word, respected and loved by all who knew him. His unforgettable smile and infectious laugh will be missed.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Bennie Sorrentino. He is survived by his mother Beverly (Lyman) Sorrentino; sister JoAnn Barker (Steve) of Decatur, TX; niece Dalene Gantt (Matt) of Paradise, TX; niece Regan Snyder (Tommy) of Hendersonville, TN; great-nephew Hunter Gantt (Emily); great-niece Makenna Gantt; great-niece Hayden Adams; great-nephew Noah Snyder; great-great nephews Max Marshall and Brooks Marshall; uncle Sonny Lyman of Kansas City, MO; sister Diana Daily (Dearl) of Richmond, MO; brother Bobby Green of Kansas City, MO; and countless cousins and friends.

Thank you to the ER and 11th floor doctors and staff at KU, and also KCFD & EMT for transporting Mark to KU.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m.
