Mary A. (Angotti) Cosentino, 98, went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 11, 2014, with her family by her side at John Knox Village, one day shy of her 99th birthday. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 14, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 15, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5106 St. John Ave., Kansas City, MO 64123. Burial will follow in Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Mary was born August 12, 1915, in Kansas City, MO, to Frank and Teresa (Torchia) Angotti. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where she served in the Altar Society and as a Eucharistic minister for many years. She was also a member of the American War Mothers and various catholic missionaries and prayer leagues. Mary was employed at Lake City and Pratt & Whitney from 1942 until the end of WWII, all the while raising seven children. She then worked at Dairy Way, also known as DiMaggio's, for over 10 years, and worked at the Northeast Bookstore with her brother.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Frank Green and John Green; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Cosentino; and 11 siblings. She is survived by her children, Joe Green (Dorothy), Rose Mary Stamps (Louie), Richard Green (Joanne), Vince Cosentino, Patty Marchese; daughter-in-law, JoMarie Green; 21 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren with one forthcoming; 46 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Adolph Angotti (Marge), Richard Angotti; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Angotti.

Her pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Mary was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all.
