Mary Louise Bodney, 95, passed away August 13, 2018. Visitation will be 11 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 12 p.m. on Friday, August 17, at the Highlands Community of Christ, 7615 N. Platte Purchase Dr., Kansas City, MO 64118. Entombment will be at Forest Hill Mausoleum.

Mary Lou was born June 22, 1923, in Kansas City, MO. She owned 'Mary Lou's Beauty Shop' on Troost for several years and was a member of the church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Patrick Moran and Eugene Bodney; son, Stephen Michael Moran; grandchildren, Lisa and Sean; and step-daughter, Susie. She is survived by her sons, Robert Patrick Moran, Thomas Joseph Moran (Dixie), Daniel Ray Moran (Carol), and Timothy John Moran (Cynthia); grandchildren, Michael, Seren, Melissa, Stephen, Andrew, Tom, Jason, Brian, Robert, Andrew, Ryann, Hannah, and Ethan; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; step-children, Dana Oberfirst and Jay Jacobowitz; and two step-grandchildren.
